It follows the adventures of High School junior Scott Sweet and his friends as they attempt to escape the boredom of their dead-end, small-town Arizona suburb by skipping school to go to Disneyland, deliver 20lbs of marijuana to L.A., team up with a bank robber on the lam, escape from angry unpaid mechanics, make a side trip to Las Vegas, accidently take peyote with a traveling band of hippies, avoid the cops, get laid, convince their parents not to ground them when they get home and maybe, just maybe, score enough money to take his high school crush to the prom. Hey, it beats 2nd period algebra!

Odd and lovely tales from a motel in Jersey running the literary gamut, from sci-fi and horror, from comedy to romance, and everything in between. Based on the recovered writings of Oscar Garrett, a teenager who lived at the Motel Americana in the 1980’s, it’s hard to tell where the fiction begins and where the facts end. Wherever possible, the readings incorporate the actual surveillance audio of the lodgers that Oscar’s bugs captured, audio he evidently used as the source material for his stories. Many of the characters’ tales prove to be loosely interconnected and they ultimately offer a backdrop, and perhaps some answers, to the mysterious circumstances surrounding the eventual disappearance of Oscar and, indeed, of the motel itself.

Oz 9
It's Spring 2142 (a Tuesday), and Gated Galaxies has launched its 400 Oz-8000 ships, each carrying 50,000 "resting guests" to, hopefully, a new home on a shiny, brand-new planet. Except this whole "terraform and take over" idea isn't actually the plan; the real plan is far more nefarious and involves a great deal of cackling. But those aboard the ships don't know that, so off they toodle (those that make it out of Earth's atmosphere, at least), all shiny and optimistic. This is the story of one of those ships – the Oz 9 – and its tiny crew of hopeless incompetents. So far, they've been in space half an hour and several hundred people are dead. So... bright future, clearly.

Wolf 359

Life's not easy for Doug Eiffel, the communications officer for the U.S.S. Hephaestus Research Station, currently on Day 448 of its orbit around red dwarf star Wolf 359. He's stuck on a scientific survey mission of indeterminate length, 7.8 light years from Earth. His only company on board the station are stern mission chief Minkowski, insane science officer Hilbert, and Hephaestus Station's sentient, often malfunctioning operating system Hera. He doesn't have much to do for his job other than monitoring static and intercepting the occasional decades-old radio broadcast from Earth, so he spends most of his time creating extensive audio logs about the ordinary, day-to-day happenings within the station. But the Hephaestus is an odd place, and life in extremely isolated, zero gravity conditions has a way of doing funny things to people's minds. Even the simplest of tasks can turn into a gargantuan struggle, and the most ordinary-seeming things have a way of turning into anything but that. Wolf 359 is a radio drama in the tradition of Golden Age of Radio shows. Take one part space-faring adventure, add one part character drama, and mix in one part absurdist sitcom, and you get Wolf 359. New episodes are released every two weeks.
