You are seated in an auditorium of indeterminate size; the walls extending into blackness, the ceiling shrouded by the darkness as well...the murmurs of the faceless audience members around you has reached its peak, but is beginning to subside...the lights are dimming, leaving only a solitary, brightly glowing bulb dangling from a string above center stage...its dim but powerful light scatters shifting shadows around the entire theater...the shadows appear to culminate on stage, encircling the light, and just as it extinguishes, you catch a fleeting glimpse of the figure of a smiling man beneath it, and you realize, for the 1st time, that you are in The Ghost Light Theater.
