Slumberland invites your ears to visit Slumberland, a small island town in the US. Come along with Thomas Edward M, the freelance soundman. He's been hired to meet the locals and record their oral histories for the town's time capsule. The unfolding history of the town mixes folklore, paranormal, mystery and humor.

I had this podcast recommended to me a couple years ago and was delighted to find a lot to catch up on. It was the first show I listened to that had episodes on the shorter side and it did take me a little getting used. I marathoned it pretty quickly and now I avidly await each new episode and know it’s always going to be a delight. The creator does a great job of creating a whole unique world with this island and its strange and unusual characters, as well as taking listeners back into the past and how things came to be. I heartily recommend you start the show from the beginning, each episode is a little gem in this deep and wondrous jewelry box.
