Contains semi-adult language (a few instances of “crap,” “damn” and variations thereof, and “hell,” JC’s name in vain, “piss,” and “screw” in a non-explicit context), the depiction of the unpleasant consequences of drinking (enough rum to blind a pirate), actual drinking (beer, in the absence of a Screaming Viking), irresponsible pistol use, references to murder, gambling (maybe not poker, depending on your definition, but horse racing and proposition betting definitely count), and a virtually indecipherable Cockney dialect.
